Fourteen academy players called up by the Federation

The Basque Federation has published the regional squad lists and fourteen club players have been called up. It is Itsasalde’s largest representation in a call-up in recent years.

Four players from the U16 and U14 teams have been named for the U14 side; six from the U19 and U16 teams for the U16 side; and four from the senior B team for the U18 side. The call-ups include several training sessions and two friendly matches.

Everyone at the club wants to congratulate the players, their families and the coaching staff who have supported them throughout the season. “It rewards daily work and is also a responsibility: we want them to keep enjoying the game and return with what they have learned,” said the club’s sports coordinator.

The club has organised a bus for families who want to support the team at their first match.
